Role Overview
The Account Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end execution of national and regional sampling programs. You will be the primary point of contact for assigned brand partners and will oversee scheduling, staffing, sourcing, reporting, and performance optimization.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and has experience managing multiple brands sampling programs.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Program Management
-Serve as the main point of contact for assigned brand accounts
-Manage ongoing communication, reporting, and program updates
-Translate client goals into executable field programs
-Prepare monthly and quarterly performance recaps
Operations & Scheduling
-Build and manage demo schedules across multiple markets
-Coordinate staffing and coverage with brand ambassadors and source new talent in new and existing markets
-Monitor attendance, replacements, and last-minute changes
-Resolve day-of issues quickly and professionally
Performance & Reporting
-Track program KPIs: samples, sales, engagement, conversion, ROI
-Analyze store and rep performance
-Identify underperforming locations and recommend improvements
-Ensure accurate and timely reporting
Team & Quality Management
-Support onboarding and training of field staff
-Maintain brand standards and execution quality
-Upgrade and optimize rep talent over time
-Provide feedback and coaching when needed
Optimization & Growth
-Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
-Support proposal development and client renewals
-Contribute ideas to scale programs sustainably
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Within 3 months, you will:
-Run programs with minimal errors and high client confidence
-Maintain 95%+ staffing coverage
-Deliver on-time, high-quality reports
-Improve sales and engagement metrics across your accounts
-Be trusted by clients as a strategic partner, not just a coordinator
Required Qualifications
2+ years experience in:
-Account Management, Project Management, Field Marketing, Experiential Marketing, or CPG/Retail Operations
-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Comfortable managing multiple programs simultaneously
-Excellent written and verbal communication
-Proficient in Google Workspace / Excel / Sheets / CRM tools
-Ability to work independently and take ownership
Preferred Experience
Experience working with:
-Retail activations
-Brand ambassador programs
-Sampling or demo agencies
-CPG brands
-Experience managing distributed teams
-Familiarity with Walmart or large retail environments
