Description
Join our Asset Management Events Team as an Events Planner Manager and lead the planning and execution of high-impact client events that drive growth, strengthen relationships, and elevate the J.P. Morgan brand.As a Senior Events Manager within the Asset Management Events Team, you will partner with marketing and sales management across all divisions to plan and deliver high-caliber client events that drive new client acquisition, increase flows, and strengthen relationships. You will oversee all aspects of event management, including budgeting, logistics, communications, agenda coordination, on-site execution, follow-up, and measurement. Leveraging your expertise, you will ensure events consistently meet J.P. Morgan standards, collaborate on strategic event plans, and continuously seek ways to enhance the client experience and build the firm's brand.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance event efficiency.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of J.P. Morgan event standards at every event.
- Collaborate with the Head of Americas Events to design strategic event plans for business growth.
- Manage project timelines, critical paths, and overall event planning processes.
- Coordinate agendas and serve as the central point for session scheduling.
- Work with speakers to arrange meetings and oversee content creation.
- Build and maintain registration websites, communications, and conference apps.
- Handle attendee communications, requests, travel manifests, and hotel bookings.
- Coordinate logistics with external partners for travel, accommodations, venue setup, AV, and security.
- Partner with Creative Services to produce event materials and support onsite execution.
- Measure and report event outcomes, track metrics, and assist with ad hoc team projects.
Required qualifications , capabilities and skills
- 6+ years of event management experience
- Excellent knowledge of all logistical and production elements
- Sound budget management skills, communication skills and work ethic
- Confidence and maturity to effectively represent events to the business, external clients and partners
- Good team player willing and able to contribute to, co-operate with, and support others in the achievement of shared goals
- Strong negotiation skills
- Self-starter able to add value to event marketing solutions within a business
- Able to communicate well in order to win confidence of peers and senior managers
- Ambitious, self-motivated and proactive. Always looking to improve and increase the client event experience
- Visionary, energetic with a passion for delivery high quality events
