Cherry Creek Country Club is an upscale, family-oriented, private club and golf course. Our mission is to create an exceptional, family friendly member experience with superior facilities and services.
Job Overview
The responsibilities of this position are diverse. This position requires the ability to effectively and efficiently produce marketing materials, manage all communications Club wide to include web design, while having the ability to welcome and interact with our Members and Guests. As the Club's Marketing and Communications Specialist, you support all the Clubs teams and all aspects of the Clubs life. Your focus is on editing, creating, and distributing marketing materials and utilizing multiple mediums to do so. Strong editing and communication skills are required.
Job Qualifications
Education Preferred:
- Four-year degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in Communications, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently sitting with some walking and standing.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Occasionally lifts/carries up to 15 lbs.
- Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Walking and/or standing for duration of shift.
Working Conditions:
- Varied schedule to include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates. Generally, with 40-hour minimum weekly schedules.
- May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on service area.
- Varied weather conditions are expected.
Experience Required
Experience:
- Able to express strategic guidance through superior written and oral communication skills.
- Teamwork and being a team player.
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be able to work productively without guidance, initiative-taking with positive interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency of basic computer programs (Microsoft Office).
- Thrive in a member facing role while always bringing your "A" game.
- Excellent oral communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
Essential Responsibilities
Essential duties of the position include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate, print, web, and email projects with respective vendors
- Club Event advertising and advertising campaigns
- Produce and distribute flyers, posters, email blasts, invitations, Club calendar, mobile app., and print material
- Marketing and print material when using magazine print, for example, Avid Golfer
- Format and print all Club menus
- Dining Room, Juice Bar, On-Course and Special Events
- Maintain and update marketing materials displayed throughout the property
- Mobile phone app maintenance and updates
- Weekly email blasts
- compiling the weekly schedule of events
- formatting and distributing to membership via the Club email system
- Generating content
- Format and print monthly statement calendar
- Proofing and editing marketing material
- Generating and staying up to date on marketing strategies
- Execute marketing plans
- Keeping notes on what may or may not have worked and how to improve
- Generate event marketing materials and promotional pieces
- Web design, website updates, and modifications
- Greeting Members or guests with a warm welcome. Show them to rooms and amenities to help them have a seamless experience. Address Members by name when possible
- Greeting prospective members and communicating with Ownership about their arrival
- Executing and keeping the perspective member packets up to date
- Assisting with onboarding new Members
- Includes app setup or producing the Membership Paperwork needed for signing
- Fielding questions by Membership in a professional and timely manner. Comments and concerns should be directed to the appropriate manager or department.
- Take messages for phone calls about membership and give to ownership
- Answer the phone with a warm greeting and transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Answering Spa forward calls and assist in making and canceling appointment times
- Receive and sign for deliveries and packages
- Know details regarding Club events while also assisting in promoting those events (handing out flyers, encouraging dining and event reservations)
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Communicate with the Gatehouse attendant to inform them of any incoming guests or Members
- Print Club mailers and other small tasks
- Social media channels
- Windshield stickers distribution
- Printing donation certificate
- Scheduling reservations
- Capturing photos at events and making photo albums capturing videos drone use
- Pitching in with Event operations when needed - example; coat check, reservation table check in, showing members to their tables

- CCCC management may decide to offer Discretionary Time Off in January to eligible employees during anticipated slow periods or closure of the restaurant. Such discretionary time off is not earned or accrued and is not guaranteed and is not paid out upon separation of employment. Such time may not be used at the employee's discretion; rather it is only for a specific time period in January.
